I had severe pain in my wrists due to arthritis/tendonitis whilst caring for my terminally ill husband. I had already had a nerve conduction test done on the NHS, which ruled out carpal tunnel syndrome. Mr Gupta prescribed x-rays and MRI scans on both wrists, which showed considerable inflammation around areas where there was arthritis. He then prescribed steroid injections to both wrists, one week apart. The injections worked within a few days of their administration and six weeks later I am still completely pain free and able to continue my daily activities as normal. All this without surgical intervention and within a couple of weeks of the initial consultation. Thank you!

I had a brilliant service and great follow up care after my operation. The operation was carried out skillfully and left me with minimal recovery time.

Mr. Gupta explained the procedure to me in a clear and defined way and outlined how long my recovery would take and what to expect. I felt that I was in good hands and felt reassured by him every step of the way. I would certainly recommend him to anyone with a shoulder injury and I am very pleased with the outcome.

Mr Gupta has managed my treatment brilliantly! He performed my rotator cuff shoulder operation on 25th January 2023. The operation was defined as "arthroscopic superior capsular reconstruction surgery". In the preceding meetings, Mr Gupta was very attentive and very reassuring about how the procedure would go and how I would recover. As an GB Masters athlete and Surrey Senior County cricketer, my sport is very important to me and therefore I was most concerned to be able to compete on the track and to play cricket again. I am pleased to say that the surgery went well and my rehabilitation has been ahead of schedule. Mr Gupta has been very impressed with my progress and encouraged me to continue with my exercise programme. He has been efficient in his follow up meetings – especially by giving good briefing notes to the physio team. It is clear that Mr Gupta recognised my desire to work sensibly on my rehabilitation training in our hyrdropool which has made a big difference to my recovery. We know I need treatment on the left shoulder and Mr Gupta is kindly getting an up to date MRI to ensure this can go ahead. I cannot recommend Mr Gupta highly enough! Tony Mitchell

Thankfully, after horrendous 24hr experience at Frimley Hospital, my physio suggested we seek an appointment with Mr Gupta. From the very first appointment, I knew I was in very capable hands. After examining my X rays he explained the full procedure that I would be required on my shoulder. He was reassuring, positive and certainly put me at ease. He has been absolutely amazing and I feel extreme fortunate to have had him as my consultant.
